Though MTN will not just use your BVN details to register your mtn line without your knowledge or giving them the go ahead. To give them the go ahead, you have to sms the word Yes to 799. This is just to grant MTN the go ahead to use your BVN details to complete your SIM registration.

Note: You Mtn line must be the line you used for your BVN registration.
On the off chance you haven't enrolled for the BVM registration, then you will have no choice than to visit any MTN office close to you to register and activate your sim back.
