Then this tutorial is for you.
HOW TO PREVENT YOUR PHONE FROM BEING TRACKED
The easiest way to hide your identity or prevent your phone from being tracked is to activate AIRPLANE MODE or FLIGHT MODE depending what the phone has.
Airplane mode doesn’t turn off your phone’s firmware. This tells your phone what cellular network to connect to.
This step is for non-removeable battery phones. Because if you try to switch off the phone, you might be unlucky to be one among those infected by a specimen of Android malware – PowerOffHijack. This guy basically fakes your phone’s shutdown animation and instead hibernates it. In this state, your phone remains easily traceable.
In the case whereby the phone is a removable battery phone, then you can just remove the battery from the phone. With that, you are on the safer side, which means you can never be tracked.
