It's no longer news that some manufacturers quit on certain production. Now Dell has quit producing Android Tablet smartphones.
Some time last year, Dell launched the Venue 8 tablet, but they really had low sales on that device and now they've stopped manufacturing Android Tablet smartphones to focus on 2in1 PC and Laptops.

The slate tablet market is over-saturated and is experiencing declining demand from consumers, so we’ve decided to discontinue the Android-based Venue tablet line…For customers who own Android-based Venue products, Dell will continue to support currently active warranty and service contracts until they expire, but we will not be pushing out future OS upgrades.According to a post, Kirk Schell, VP, Commercial Client solutions at Dell paraphrased why 2-in-1 PC is what they need now and in the future. People now go for Smartphones that won't be a stress to them in terms of the size. So for now, lets say goodbye.
