Google Duo App Set To Be Pre-installed In Upcoming Micromax Phones

Google Duo is a better product compared to Allo. To be honest, i prefer Google Duo to Allo. Duo has the ability to make Video calls while Allo doesn't. Duo is very simple and easy to setup and that is why MicroMax, an Indian electronics company, officially announced that four phones they will be releasing in coming years will have Duo app pre-installed.

MicroMax haven't said anything about the upcoming phones but according to rumors, they will be 4G LTE enabled and will be sold above $100.

Amit Fulay -Google Product Manager- has this to say;

"In the first month alone we have seen over 10 million downloads, with US and India being among the top countries."

I can't say if Google will start working with phone manufacturers to add Duo as a pre-installed app to upcoming smartphones. Be it as it may, Micromax is the first phone manufacturer to do this.
