Airtel Borrow Airtime Fee Increased To 15%
Recently, MTN and Etisalat increased their Borrow Airtime fee from 10% to 15%. And now, Airtel has just joined the league to increase their borrow airtime fee from the normal 10% to 15%. I don't really know why they are doing this. Seems Glo might join them anytime soon. Just saying though.
HOW TO BORROW AIRTIME ON AIRTEL
To borrow airtime on Airtel is very simple. Simple dial *500*amount#. For example: *500*200#.
Seems they are getting massive subscribers who borrow on their network or it might be a reason i don't know. Instead of the normal 10% service charge when you borrow, you will now be charged 15% service charge.
For instance, if you borrow N200 airtime, you will be recharged with N170 and N30 (15% service charge) will be deduced, instead of 10% service charge.

NOTE: Before you can borrow airtime on Airtel, you need to be a regular subscriber on Airtel for at least 3 months and must load a minimum of N250 monthly before you can borrow.
