Do you know that Google drive can serve as a one-click download portal? Aside from hosting your files and data on Google Drive, it can also serve as a download portal. It's annoying to see Pop-up ads when your visitors wanted to download a file from your link. All these free file hosting sites embedded pop-up ads which generates revenue for them in return of their free service. Today, i will quickly teach you how to create a direct download link on Google Drive.
By now, we all knows that Google gives 15GB free storage to each Google account. You can create more Google account to get this free 15GB storage, 10 accounts gives u 150GB which you can't finish in a hurry.
Back to the topic of this post.
Now, you can choose to shorten your link or just embed it into your post with HTML HREF tag and see the work.
Note: There will be no Virus scan warning for files bigger than 25mb because we stopped that in the url already.

- Sign in to drive.google.com with your google account,
- Click on new,
- Click on file upload,
- Select the file you wish to upload and click open
- After successful upload right click on the file and click on get shareable link,
- Then, go to your notepad and paste the link
- Inside the link, you will see the FILE ID which usually consists digits and alphabets. E.g: ?id=0BHF57Hhdjis67BGK7hsjj09kAGhs
- Now copy the url below and replace XXXXXX with your FILE ID
- "https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&confirm=Fo61&id=XXXXXXXXXXXXX". E.g: https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&confirm=Fo61&id=0BHF57Hhdjis67BGK7hsjj09kAGhs
Now, you can choose to shorten your link or just embed it into your post with HTML HREF tag and see the work.
