You Can Now Send And Receive Funds Via PayPal Using Facebook Messenger

This is a welcome development as you can now receive and as well send funds with your PayPal account using the popular Facebook Messenger App. This feature has already went live.

Previously, Facebook messenger only supports Debit Cards transactions but now, PayPal has collaborated with Facebook to introduce transactions via your PayPal account on Facebook messenger. As we all know that PayPal is a well known and recognized payment gateway, this Feature is really a good one.

Before now, we all know that PayPal restricted Nigeria from receiving funds and some other countries, but we hope and pray they lift the ban from our beloved country Nigeria. Having a PayPal account without receiving funds, is like a Bank account without receiving Money.

With this new feature, you will get payment notifications delivered to you within the Messenger app once a transaction is done.

Bill Ready, EVP, Chief Operating Officer, PayPal has this to say;

"This collaboration continues to showcase our march to be a customer champion,"

Unfortunately, this feature is currently only available in the United States of America and we hope it will be available across other countries including Nigeria.
