The Next Android Version to be Called OREO
Before this year runs out, we should be expecting to see another Android version starting with the letter "O". According to the yearly routine, the new Android version will be called Oreo.
If you notice, from the beginning of Android versions, Android versions are being named with desserts and sugary sweets. Starting from Gingerbread, Ice Cream Sandwich, KitKat, Lollipop, Marshmallow etc, go down the long list of foods named after the popular operating system.
The first hint to this speculation is fueled by Hiroshi Lockheimer, Senior Vice President, Android, Chrome OS & Play at Google. See what he tweeted below:

— Hiroshi Lockheimer (@lockheimer) February 20, 2017The video attachment is showing Oreo. Will the next Android version be called Oreo? Let's not be too sure; take this info with a pinch of salt, and wait to see what the official name will be called. If at all it's called Oreo, it doesn't sound bad at all.
