You Can Now Double Tap To Fast Forward and Rewind a Video in YouTube App
Days ago, i updated my YouTube app in Google Playstore, and i noticed that i can fast-forward and rewind a video on YouTube by just double tapping. Though, there's no official announcement yet regarding this feature.
Instead of moving the red line counting while watching a YouTube video to forward and rewind, you can fast-forward and rewind a video for both Android and iOS YouTube App by just double-tapping. It's very simple and straight-forward.
==> Launch your YouTube app (Android/iOS)
==> Open a video in full-screen mode or normal mode.
==> Double tap on the left side of the screen to rewind, and you will go back 10 seconds and identically doing it on the right side takes you forward. I have indicated where you should double tap, in the below image.
That's all about that.
The latest YouTube app has been officially rolled out. Just head-over to Google Playstore to update your YouTube app and also on iTunes if you are an iOS user.
In addition, if you are an iOS user, updating your Youtube app should also bring along the convenient new lockscreen controls for casting playback.
Some problems with the skip feature have already been reported. Many users claim that it slows down the interface and the full-screen toggle. Hopefully, these bugs should have been fixed, as it is a nice little feature to have.
