Ntel 4G Announces New Unlimited Data Plans For Smartphone users
I got a mail few days ago from Ntel about their anniversary celebration; a year after fully launching their business in Nigeria. Below is the content of the mail i received from ntel:
On celebrating their first year of service, ntel has added new tariffs for its smartphone unlimited data plans. They have officially announced these data plans and their prices for them. Below are the unlimited data plans and price list for Ntel.
The New Ntel Smartphone Unlimited Tariffs
Ntel had introduced the unlimited plans in 2016 as a 3-month Data Test Drive promo, but kept them running after the initial 3-month run. The operator recently introduced capped data plans and new data/voice combos. These run parallel to the unlimited plans.
While Ntel unlimited data plans are not capped, there is a daily usage threshold at which point the connection is throttled. The operator’s fair usage policy does not state what this threshold is. The original fair usage policy stated that during peak periods each day, any subscriber who has used a total volume of 3 GB will be slowed down to 512bps.

In few days, ntel will celebrate the first anniversary of its commercial launch on 08 04 2016. It will also mark 365 days of our Data Test Drive which allowed data hungry subscribers as well as heavy data users to test our network’s capabilities.
On November 6, 2016, Stanley08, a nairaland user, wrote that he downloaded “Call of Duty Infinite Warfare” with a file size of 43GB in just over 4 hours.
We also had subscribers reporting superfast speeds.
When we launched, we made a commitment to provide Nigerians with an unbeatable broadband experience – superfast Internet speeds and unlimited data and we are glad to have exceeded your expectations.
As our anniversary dawns, we are rolling out a suite of new data/voice combos as well as data only plans and products with the sole aim of giving our customers more. You can find details of these plans and products here - http://www.ntel.com.ng
Have no fear, our heavy users and very data hungry subscribers will still have access to a wide range of UNLIMITED data packages uniquely suited to their needs.
As we celebrate our first anniversary of full commercial launch, our brand promise remains the same; to help you LIVE. MORE.
