You can now Share Any Type of Files on WhatsApp
This should sound as a good news and a welcome development to almost everyone using Whatsapp. According to leaks on twitter, Whatsapp is currently busy testing some new features that allows you to share any type of file extension with your Whatsapp contacts.
Before now, we are only able to share PDF files, pictures, GIFs, Videos and Music with friends on Whatsapp; but now, sharing of all other files type is now official. You can now share Apk files, zip files, rar files etc on Whatsapp. Isn't this interesting?
However, many people are still using the trick i once posted on how you can share any file on Whatsapp. Even some are still using GBWhatsapp for file sharing to other GBWhatsapp contacts too.
The new File sharing features will allow you to send any type of files to your WhatsApp contact. Any type of files you can think of at all and it currently enables users to share a maximum file size of 100MB for Android users, 128MB for iOS users, & 64MB for Desktop users.
As you can see, the feature will be available for Android, iOS and Windows phone users. Currently, it's been rolled out to some Beta testers. You can as well become a Whatsapp Beta tester too pending when this feature will be rolled out to the regular version. Just open your Playstore, locate Whatsapp, scroll down to "Become a Beta Tester" and finally tap "I'm IN".
Within some few seconds, you will automatically get a new Whatsapp Beta update. Henceforth, you'll be the first to get latest Whatsapp features/update before rolling out to the regular version.

Whatsapp is now getting More Better. That's Fantastic 😊
ReplyDeletewell, they are getting there. it will come to a time xender will be useless cos whatsapp can even work offline and one can send things with it offline.
ReplyDeleteLet me correct this fact. Xender can never be useless and cannot be compared with Whatsapp. You can't send over 1GB file on Whatsapp in minutes. But you can do so on Xender within some few minutes.
DeleteThey should sha enlarge the capacity from 100mb to 1gb.
ReplyDeleteA beta tester already.. Got a notification in the beta aspect of my playstore.. Thanks though 👍
