New Method To Activate MTN 100% Double Data Bonus on Any Phone




I have updated this post with the latest working method to activate MTN 100% Data Bonus without buying a new sim card or changing your IMEI.

This is a good news to everyone on MTN network as they can now get and activate MTN 100% double data bonus without buying a new smartphone or even changing/tweaking your Android phone's imei.

Remember the MTN 100% double data bonus that we use to activate via imei tweaking? The good news now is that, you can now activate this double data bonus without tweaking your phone's imei or even getting a new MTN sim. Interesting huh?

What this means is that, all MTN users with any type of phone can now activate MTN 100% double data bonus without buying a new MTN sim or even changing the  phone's imei. It's very simple and straightforward.


MTN double data offer has been around for over 2years now but they recently reduced the bonus from 100% to just 20% on some phones and also stopped it on some devices.

Some people including i has been given 100% bonus instead of the 20% bonus that was activated after tweaking. But this new method will give you 100% data bonus on your MTN sim. This is really a value for money, and I've been enjoying it here.

Like i said earlier, this will work on all MTN sims regardless the type of phone you are using, be it Android, iOS or windows phone. It doesn't require any rooting or tweaking of imei number. Just for you to send an sms and boom! you will get activated for the offer. Follow my below steps to activate MTN 100% double data bonus without changing imei or buying a new MTN sim.

HOW TO ACTIVATE MTN 100% DATA BONUS

  1. Goto Message and send PROMO to 131.
  2. You’ll receive a push SMS saying “Thank you for subscribing for device bundle. Reply 1 to accept or 2 to reject". 
  3. Kindly reply 1 and then you’ll get a thank you confirmation.
  4. After this, you can then subscribe for any plan you want and it'll be doubled.


HOW TO CONFIRM IF YOUR DEVICE HAS BEEN ACTIVATED FOR MTN 100% DOUBLE DATA BONUS

  • To confirm if truly your device has been activated for the 100% double data bonus, kindly subscribe for a daily plan before going for any bigger plans (just to be on the safer side).
  • Dial *131*1# to subscribe for a daily plan
  • After that, sms 2 to 131.
  • You should see Daily: 50MB and Device Bonus: 50MB.
  • After confirmation, you can then subscribe to a bigger plan.
  • NOTE: make sure you opt out of daily auo-renewal by sending NO104 to 131.


HOW TO CHECK YOUR DATA BALANCE

To check your data balance dial *131*4# or sms 2 to 131 to check your data and bonus data balance.

Note that data bonus won't be given to you if you purchase data from third party sellers.

      It is Airtel double data subscription and it works well, 6gb at #1500 per month.The code is *440*161#.This not a cheat but a normal Airtel subscription. The code for #1000 double data for 3gb is *144# select from options. Enjoys.

      To get airtel 6 for n1500, you need to change your imei with blackberry imei.       I don't really think so, as 100% data bonus will keep going for 6months. You can still re-subscribe the next month and see if it will be doubled. If not, try sending those messages again.

      Yes i subscribed for a 100 data plan. Infact while sending the messages, i got a pop up page telling me to subscribe for device bundle at #1 per day
