Tecno has officially rolled out Android 7.1.1 Nougat update to the Phantom 6 Plus device via OTA. Now, users of the Tecno Phantom 6 Plus can now feel Android Nougat on their device.
Android Nougat is a very cool update as it comes with a unique UI, features and system enhancement. The update is coming Over-The-Air (OTA) and it weighs in about 1.7GB in size.
As i always advice, you have to unroot your phone if it's rooted. And also, you need a fast network connection to perform the update, or better still connect to a fast Wi-Fi network with above 2GB data, and charge your battery to at least 80% before proceeding with the software update.
Below is a comprehensive guide to perform the system update on your Tecno Phantom 6 Plus.

>> Go to your phone "Settings"
>> Tap on "About Phone"
>> Tap on "System Update"
>> Now, tap on the "Download icon" for the download to start.
Now, you have to wait for the download to complete 100%. Then, it will reboot to install/update the software.
After successful installation, your phone will be rebooted and Android 7.1.1 Nougat will smile to you on the device! Take note that the first booting process might take a few minutes to complete, so you need to exercise a little patient.
