Android 8.0 Oreo Update Starts Rolling Out to Xiaomi Mi A1
Xiaomi Mi A1 that was launched early this year 2017 has started receiving Android 8.0 Oreo update via OTA. The phone came with stock Android Nougat, and now you can upgrade it to Android 8.0 Oreo which is currently the latest version of Android.
Users in India has already started receiving the update on their devices. Though according to Xiaomi India twitter page, they already announced the pending start of the update.
The update came weighing in above 1GB so it's quite a large download for you to perform. The update also brings along security patch updates for the month of December 2017.
In addition, the update also comes with all Oreo features which includes but not limited to lighter UI color, the notification dots, Auto Fill in apps, Night Light mode, Picture-in-Picture mode, and more others.
