Chrome Adds Option to Mute Video Auto Play on Websites
Google is currently rolling out Chrome v64 on all device platform including Windows. The noticeable feature on Windows version is the ability to mute websites that auto play videos.
You are going to love this feature as you don't need to manually stop the video everytime you visit such website. What you have to do is just right click on the tab and select 'Mute site' to permanently mute it.
Also, Chrome has permanently disabled SharedArrayBuffer feature that cause meltdown and spectre attacks. Now the browser is protected against future attacks.
Chrome for Windows now support HDR. If you have a Windows 10 PC running the latest Fall Creators Update, HDR-compatible hardware and HDR display, then you should be able to play HDR content in the browser, incase you find any.
