My Personal Experience With Ntel Unlimited Night Plans
Ntel recently launched unlimited Night plans which led to many questions like, "Is it truly unlimited?" "Will there be any form of speed throttling?" and many more other related questions.
I also heard someone saying that he tried the unlimited N500 night plan but was so disappointed with the speed that he was getting. I was discouraged to try it out but it's never the best as a Blogger.
On the 31st of December 2017, i grabbed my Ntel sim card, inserted it into my unlocked Spectranet Mifi and subscribed for the N500 plan which is unlimited and valid for 2 days.
Seriously, the speed was cool. The network coverage in my location is giving me just two bars. Even with that, am getting over 1MB/Sec. Look at the notification bar in the screenshot below for the speed.
I downloaded some couple of games like GTA SA, Car Racing, Bike racing etc (about 5GB).
I would only advice you to subscribe to this unlimited night plans if Ntel coverage is available in your location. According to ntel, they will stop the unlimited night plan come March 2018.

ReplyDeleteCheck here for the coverage in your location.
DeleteWow
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried Ntel, but sounds like something I'd be getting soonest!
ReplyDeleteDo you have a link to how to get started with it?
You need to get the sim, activate a plan and use on any phone that support ntel 4G band or unlocked Spectranet Mifi.
DeleteThanks for the insight Kachi
ReplyDeleteI would like to confirm if it can work with a 3G modem, or strictly 4G
4G sim can never work on a 3G modem. You need a 4G compatible modem or Mifi that support ntel band.
DeleteAlright, I'd get that.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info
You are welcome.
DeleteGood for those using ntel
ReplyDeleteWhat about etisalat magic sim
ReplyDeleteTo ntel users
