MTN NG To Increase Price of SME Data Plans Come August 21, 2018
MTN is at it again. They are planning to increase the price of their SME data share for the second time. Recall, late last year 2017, MTN increased the price of SME data plans, and now, they are planning to increase the price for the second time.
According to the official text message sent to all SME data sellers, it reads;
In a nutshell:
So, from 21st of August 2018, the new prices would take effect, and this would really kick some resellers out of the business while some will drastically increase their data prices which at the same time will leave customers with options to either buy directly from MTN or go with the new price.
This is really a sad news to all SME data resellers out there. I just hope their new prices would be fair enough to still retain their customers. Be that as it may, this would really make some resellers quit the business with MTN.
Or what do you think?

You are really in the business.
DeleteWhat I would advise you all is that, if they finally increase the price, then you guys should increase your prices as well, just like how you calculated it in your comment. And also try to explain to your customers on the new update.

ReplyDeleteSomething is Wrong with MTN...
ReplyDeleteWell it's their own cup of tea, if other service providers maintain their lower prices, mtn will keep on loosing.
ReplyDeleteMTN don't want Nigeria youths to enjoy anything anymore, why the need for increasing in SME DATA at this crucial time?
