Android 9 Pie Has Started Rolling Out To Infinix Note 5 and Nokia 7.1

Android 9 PIE update is finally here for Infinix Note 5 users and Nokia 7.1 users. The update comes with lot of new features Android 9 PIE has to offer, new UI, new features, optimized performance, new preferences and more.

Many users of the Infinix Note 5 has been expecting this new update, and now, it's here. It's quite unfortunate that this upgrade is only available for beta testers. If you are not a Beta tester, you will have to wait for a public rollout which will be available soon.

Coming to Nokia 7.1, users in the US have already started getting the update via OTA. Android 9 PIE for Nokia 7.1 came weighing in at 1.3GB, and it should download and install in the background. Just a quick restart, and you'll be running the latest and greatest version of Android.

How To Upgrade Your Phone To Android 9 PIE

Before you perform the upgrade, make sure your phone is not rooted. Ensure your phone is charged to at least 90%. Also make sure you have up to 2GB of data bundle to download the update.

When all these requirements are in place, then go to your Phone Settings > About Phone > System Updates. There you will perform the upgrade.
