MTN has just silently launched a new data plan that gives you 200MB for just 50 Naira. With this plan, you can also get a whopping 1GB data for as low as 250 Naira. Interesting right? Of course it is.
This is coming just when Glo introduced 1.2GB data for 500 Naira which is valid for 14 days. Unlike Glo, MTN 200MB data plan is SIM SELECTIVE. This means that not everyone will be eligible for this offer.
This plan is an exclusive offer to some selected MTN users. You just have to try your luck and see if you qualify for this offer or not.
You can get 200MB for 50 Naira and 1GB for 250 Naira. Data is usable on any device and anytime of the day. Validity for this plan is 7 Days.
Like I earlier said, this plan is based on eligibility. To subscribe, make sure you have upto 50 Naira on your MTN sim, then dial *131*25#.
If you are eligible, the plan will be activated on your sim.
But if you are not eligible, you will get an ineligible response like the one below.
You can check your data balance by dialing *131*4#. Data is valid for 7 days.
The logic used here is very simple. This plan allows multiple subscriptions. So, if you subscribe 5 times, you will get 1GB in total for just 250 Naira.
