Steps to Change the Visibility of Your Online Status
- Launch the Instagram app
- Tap on the profile icon situated below at the extreme right
- Select the three-lined icon at the top right where you will access "Settings"
- Tap on "Privacy" and choose "Activity Status"
- Toggle the option as desired
You should also take note that toggling off your "Activity Status" will only affect your followers (fans). Users that you follow or have established a private chat with can still know your "last seen" time information
