WhatsApp Becomes Incompatible For These Andoid and IOS phones
It has become conventional for WhatsApp to stop running on certain smartphones at the end of every year. This trend typically began with simple mobile handsets that operated on Java and Symbian architecture. Consequently, WhatsApp ends support for older architecture/versions based on technical reasons.
Some smartphones will gradually lose compatibility with the app messenger starting from January 1, 2021. The idea is that WhatsApp tends to and must keep updating from time to time. Some of the upgrades applied may not work effectively for old smartphone versions. So, rather than trying to impossibly optimise the platform for both new and outdated operating systems, WhatsApp annually disengages from specific functions that are too old to operate on, conveniently.
Generally, WhatsApp show only run on Android 4.0.3/iOS 9 and later. Therefore, phones such as HTC Desire, LG Optimus Black, Motorola Droid Razr, and Samsung Galaxy S2 will not have the app henceforth. IPhones too such as models 4S, 5, 5S, 5C, 6 and 6S must have their OS upgraded to version 9 or newer otherwise she'll lose compatibility.
